Skulz started his DJ career in 2015, playing Dubstep, Trap, Basshouse, Hip-hop, and Reggae. In 2017, he made history as the first Vietnamese DJ to perform at the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas, alongside New Fame. 

After that, Skulz shifted towards House and Tech style and started crafting his own music in late 2017. In 2018, he gained recognition from more Vietnamese listeners and has now played many music festivals and events around the region.
