SAMMY KWEGYIR

Percussionist

Sammy Kwegyir is a master in both the Fante and Ashanti drumming traditions of Ghana. For almost a decade he was a master drummer for Adadam Agofomma, one of the famous traditional ensembles in Ghana. He currently plays in the band The Pomellowtones. He also teaches djembe and accompanies dance classes in Ho Chi Minh City.
